About

Tonya's an Atmore, Alabama area born and raised native. She's worked at building a reputation for herself as a hardworking mother and business professional in the community for many years. A member of many local area civic and community resource organizations, Tonya has given back to the community by helping others help themselves. As a result she has become very successful and is proud of her accomplishments. However, her modesty requires we not divulge all her accomplishments here. She's also a very, VERY proud mother and grandmother! A devoted family-centric, spiritually growing and enthusiastic student of life and religion, Tonya has developed into a light that attracts people to her like moths. She has overcome many challenges in her design for living (as I'm sure we all have!) to emerge from the chrysalis of life a beautiful yet caring butterfly. As with all things of great beauty, she has attracted many followers. Chief among those followers are her children Christina, James and Brandon and her step children Kimberly Amanda and Eli. When God brought her Scott to be her companion for the rest of her life, she knew when knew that she knew he was the one and proposed married him almost immediately. While he was a tad taken aback at her surety, he quickly agreed and they decided to tie the knot while on a trip visiting Christina in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 29th 2006. Scott has been the greatest love of her life, and the impetus for many opportunities to grow and change. He's her biggest fan, her greatest friend, and loving mate. Tonya's many accomplishments in her careers both in government and in business have been impressive, as has her income. But those pale in comparison to her growth as a business entrepreneur. Business ownership, developing her intelligence into sales and marketing expertise and her undying, unfailing spirit have stood the test of time and she has had many rewards both financially and professionally. She continues to expand her knowledge; experience and abilities helping her by helping others achieve their goals and opportunities. Of particular note has been her focus on areas traditionally overlooked in the area she was raised; namely, the opportunities for early adult male and female minorities to own businesses and prosper.
